Saw this late and was so sadden to hear of her passing. We chatted every time we rode our bikes by (in Florida) and she would stop and talk, She made us espresso and told us many stories. A love lady.

While I did not have the pleasure of meeting Lidia, I am sure she was a terrific lady because she raised a wonderful, loving daughter. Addi, I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and your family. xo xo, Carolyn

The sad loss of a beautiful person. Though I didn’t see her often, when I did, she always made me feel special. I’ll always remember her for one particular time many years ago during a snowstorm. I was in the neighborhood and swung by to run the plow past the front of the house. There’s Lidia, outside, in the middle of a snowstorm, housecoat on, kitchen broom in her hand. I stopped, rolled down the window and yelled “Moma! What are you doing outside like that!” She smiled and replied with her beautiful Italian accent , “ Ah, Steve a , I’m a sweepin the snow offa the steps!” So determined was this proud little Italian lady to keep her steps clean, I just shook my head and went on. I’ll never forget that moment and I’ll never forget Lidia!! I know we all have these special “Lidia” moments to share. Addi , Mario and family, I grieve with you. Love Stephen
