Antonina M. Deangelo

DeAngelo, Antonina M. of Revere, formally of the West End of Boston, born in 1921, passed away at the age of 100 on March 16, 2022, surrounded by friends and family. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip DeAngelo for 69 years: devoted mother of Frank G. DeAngelo and his wife, Linda of Revere, Philip J. DeAngelo of Revere and the late Phyllis S. Binda; dear sister of the late John G. Manganaro and his wife Rita of Raynham; cherished grandfather of Michael, David, Stephanie and Alicia. Beloved daughter of Guerino and Stephanina Manganaro. She is also survived by five loving great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Antonina, known as Nina to friends and family, attended Charlestown High School in the retail management program. Antonina will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Antonina was closely involved with the upbringing of her children and grandchildren. Family was the most important part of her life, always putting family members and friends ahead of herself. Antonina enjoyed playing Bingo with her daughter-in-law Linda, cousin Toni and friends at St. Mary's church, and simply being with people and making new friends wherever she went. She was active in the community as a member of the Saint Mary's Woman's Club, Revere First, the Revere Moose and was retired from Stop & Shop. Antonina embraced diversity and inclusion. She never refused a favor asked of her or ever excluded anyone from a get together or gathering. A Funeral will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 9:00am. Mass at St. Mary's Church in Revere at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Interment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
