Asuncion Cristobal

We are sad to announce the passing of Asuncion Cristobal of Peabody born on March 18th 1941. He died at the age of 82 on April 5, 2023 at Pilgrim Rehabilitation and skilled Nursing. Asuncion passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with serious illnesses. The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Friday, April 7th , 2023 at the Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere MA 02151.

Asuncion Cristobal was a loving and dedicated husband to Angelica Diaz in a marriage of 62 years. He was also an exemplary father to their eight children: Alvaro Asuncion, Luz Angelica, Edwin Leonel, Eliot Ricardo, Guilmar Ulises, Luz Magaly, Edgar Alejandro and Doris Amalia. As grandfather and great- grandfather, he was protective of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always friendly, kind, social and helpful to the people he met. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the staff at Pilgrim rehabilitation and skilled nursing.
