Candida Natalia Martinez De Guzman

Candida Martinez de Guzman, of Chelsea, formerly of El Salvador, passed away surrounded by a room full of her loving family on August 09, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in the state of San Vicente on December 7, 1936 to the late Casimiro and Carmen Martinez. Beloved wife of the late Marino Guzman. She is survived by her loving children Cerafin Guzman of El Salvador, Maria Cristina Merino of Everett, Manuel Guzman of Everett, Rosa Candida Guzman of Everett, Rosa Miriam Guzman of Everett, Barbara del Carmen Guzman of Chelsea, Santos Israel Guzman of El Salvador, Bertha Margarita Guzman of Everett and the late Carlos Guzman. Cherished grandmother of 30 and many more great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Gilberto Martinez.

She was a very sweet and loving lady who was devoted to her Catholic faith, husband and family. She was loved by whoever came in contact with her. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed listening to Christian music. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Monday August 15, 2022 at Sacred Hearts Parish, 315 Main St, Malden, MA from 5:30-8:00pm with a Funeral Mass to follow at 8:00PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

Candida Martinez de Guzman, de Chelsea, originalmente de El Salvador, falleció el 9 de agosto de 2022 rodeada en una habitación del amor de su familia a la edad de 85 años. Nació en el estado de San Vicente el 7 de diciembre de 1936 de los difuntos Casimiro y Carmen Martínez. Amada esposa del difunto Marino Guzmán. Le sobreviven sus amados hijos Cerafin Guzman de El Salvador, Maria Cristina Merino de Everett, Manuel Guzman de Everett, Rosa Candida Guzman de Everett, Rosa Miriam Guzman de Everett, Barbara del Carmen Guzman de Chelsea, Santos Israel Guzman de El Salvador, Bertha Margarita Guzman de Everett y el difunto Carlos Guzman. Querida abuela de 30 y muchos bisnietos más. Querida hermana de Gilberto Martínez.

Era una dama muy dulce y amorosa que se dedicaba a su fe católica, a su esposo y a su familia. Era amada por cualquiera que entrara en contacto con ella. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y disfrutaba escuchar m&uacutesica cristiana. Todos los que la conocieron la extrañarán mucho, especialmente sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. El velorio se llevará acabo el lunes 15 de agosto de 2022 en la parroquia Sagrados Corazones, 315 Main St, Malden, MA de 5:30 pm a 8:00 pm seguido de una misa f&uacutenebre a las 8:00 pm. Los familiares y amigos están invitados.
