Carlos A. Mendoza

Mendoza, Carlos Antonio- of East Boston formerly of San Salvador, El Salvador, on January 8, 2022. Beloved son of Zoila Estela Mendoza of Revere and the late Jose Antonio Mendoza. Devoted husband of Rosa Amelia Quezada Ramirez. Loving father of Stephanie Leon Mendoza of Lynn, Brandy Mendoza of Boston, Carla Mendoza, Melanie Mendoza, Carlos Mendoza, and Camilo Mendoza, all of East Boston. Cherished Papa of Fernanda Mendoza. Dear brother of Melvin Mendoza and Jason Bernal, both of Revere. Carlos came to the United States in 1989, settled in East Boston and raised his family. Carlos was an avid soccer fan and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, La Selecta of El Salvador and Barcelona of Spain. He worked as a truck driver for many years at Coca-Cola. Visiting hours will be held at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday January 13th from 4-8pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Most Holy Redeemer Parish (East Boston) on Friday at 11:00am. (Please go directly to Church) At the family's request, masks will be required upon entering the Funeral Home & Church. In lieu of flowers make donations in memory of Carlos to MGH Synovial Sarcoma Research at MGH Development office 125 Nashua St, Suite 540 Boston, MA 02114-1101 Please make checks payable to MGH. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery
