DALY~ Charles M. of Gloucester formerly of Revere and Chelsea on February 28, 2013, surrounded by his friends and family, succumbed to his brave battle with cancer at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Beloved son of the late John “Jack” and Arlene (Mombourquette) Daly. Devoted father of Charles Daly of TX, Alexis Daly and James Daly both of Revere. Dear brother of Jacquelyn French of FL, Rita Sullivan of Revere, Jack Daly of NH, Judy Sarno of Lynn and Mary Daly of Chelsea. Cherished grandfather of Ave Maire Drebit. Former husband of Andrea Weeder of Revere. Beloved Fiance of Debra Pachero of Gloucester and her family including her mom, Grace Munroe, whom Charles cared for, her several children and he was a special Grampy Charlie to her grandchildren Lily Dukette and Thomas Robbins. In the 1970’s Club-goers were rocking to the sounds of Charlie Daly along with his beloved cousins in the band Odious. Daly made the switch to Comedy in the 80’s and holds dearly many other Boston Comedians as dear friends. His Acting career including a role in the motion picture Monument Ave with co-star Dennis Leary. Most recently he was cast in the movie Ted, and the yet to be released RIPD. Right up until the end Charlie was in production acting in his favorite role as Nathan in the stage production of David the Musical with his close friend Dr. Craig Costanza. In the last couple of years Charlie dedicated himself to community service including volunteer work for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Cape Ann Chapter. He also worked mentoring youth under the direction of Henry Allen, in acting and comedy. Charlie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service will be held in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home 128 Revere St., REVERE on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be Tuesday from 4~7pm.
