Claude Joseph Mercurio

Mercurio, Claude Joseph a lifelong resident of Beachmont Revere passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 8, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Edith “Edie” (Rizzo). Devoted father of Claudette Mercurio-Ash and her husband Bill of Wakefield, Michael Mercurio of Revere, and James Mercurio and his wife Deborah of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Cameron, Tyler, Christian and Nicholas. Dear brother of Elodia D’Agosta and her late husband Joe, Michael Mercurio and his late wife Lorraine, and the late Mary Ferrante. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Claude proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday December 17, 2018 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church in Winthrop at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
