Craig Matthews

Craig Matthews of East Boston formerly of Revere entered into rest on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 72 The loving brother of the late Maureen Matthews of revere and the dear son of the late Earl and Frances Matthews of Revere. He is survived by many cousins and his loving auntie Millie Vincent of Revere. Craig grew up in Revere, and graduated from Revere Highschool. He loved all things sports, especially basketball. He also had a deep love for animals, especially his cat Fred. He was a recovering alcoholic that volunteered at various AA meetings as a speaker and mentor. Craig died after a 3-year battle with Stage four Bone and liver cancer.

A funeral service for Craig will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 9-10:30AM AM at Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA 02149.
