Carey, Daniel 62, of Revere, died on March 10th after a long illness. Beloved son of the late Paul I and Alice R (Ryan) Carey. Loving brother of Paul Michael of Stoneham and the late Jack Carey. Also survived by his nieces Meaghan Eichmann of Minneapolis, Beth Hanlon and Julie Carey of South Boston. Samantha Carey of Cape Cod, Regina Carey of Belmont and his beloved friends and caretakers Mark and Vicky. Funeral services in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Saturday March 15th at 12:00pm.Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Late US Marine Veteran Vietnam from 1970-1973. Daniel graduated from Medford High School in 1970, where he was a star football player and favorite receiver of the legendary Ed Rideout. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the former Boston State College in 1978. Dan drove the Winnebago across the United States for Dave McGillvray’ s Team, when Dave jogged cross country for his successful “per miles run” fund raising adventure.
