Daniel A. Cataldo, of Revere, formerly of Boston's North End passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 23, 2023. Loving son of the late Giacomo and Lucia (D'Angelis) Cataldo. Beloved husband of the late Carol Ann (Imperato). Devoted father of Daniel A. Cataldo, Jr. and his wife Adele, Christine Marks and her husband Robert Jr. and Tracy D'Elia and her husband Ralph, all of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Daniel A. Cataldo III, Louis Cataldo, Ann Marie Valerese, Robert Marks III, Daniel Marks, Taylor D'Elia and Jordan D'Elia. Great-grandfather of Capria, Valentina, Adrianna, Lorenzo, Carmine, and Antonio. Dear brother of the late Susan Cataldo, Joseph Cataldo, Lydia Zizza, Josephine Mestone, Vilma DiFronzo, Dolores Merola, and Anthony Cataldo. Also survived by his loving in-laws Pasquale Merola,Annette Cataldo and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Tuesday, May 30th at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Leonard of Port Maurice Parish, 320 Hanover St, Boston at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be from 8:30 -10:00 am. Danny worked in construction for the laborers union, Local 22, until his retirement in 2000. After retirement, Danny enjoyed meeting up with friends at the Salem Spa, golfing and the annual trip to Maplewood Golf Course in NH. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
