Dominic Joseph Freni

Freni, Dominic Joseph of Revere and formerly of the West End passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 98. Born in Boston on January 14, 1924 to the late Antinino and Josephine (Durso). Beloved husband of the late Emma (DeLuca). Devoted father of Kirsten Freni of Winthrop, and Jocelyn Coleman and her husband Mark of Wilmington. Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Nikkia Marcin, and Courtney Coleman. Dear brother of the late Antonio Freni, Santo Freni, Joseph Freni, Santa Messina, Ann Chillemi, and Agatha Auditore. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dominic proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a Purple Heart recipient and received numerous medals and ribbons for his efforts. Dominic worked at Strock & Co as a produce broker in Chelsea for years. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10:00 am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church in Revere at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Entombment Woodlawn Mausoleum.
