Donna Marie Crespo

Donna passed away shortly after being diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 64 on February 24, 2024.

She was born and raised in Chelsea MA, she was the beloved first born daughter to Marie Hibbard, (Padova) and late Gaetano Crespo.  Cherished sister to Renee Hibbard, Linda Green and late husband Richard “Muskie” Green and Richard Crespo.  She was extremely loved by her nephews Tyler “TJ” Hibbard, Richard, Joshua, Ethan and Evan Crespo and her beautiful niece Alexandria Lancaster, her husband Wendall and her great-nephew Hutchinson.  Donna was loved by all her amazing aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and the wonderful staff members of Bay Cove far too many people to name, who assisted in making every day special for her; they are also our family, and we thank them.

Donna was a special soul, kind to all that knew her, people and animals, her favorites were Luca Brasi and Hank who were there to comfort her.  It didn’t matter if she was in pain or sad if you asked her how she was she would respond, “I’m fine how are YOU?”  She is described by everyone she knew as gentle, kind, sweet with a beaming smile.  When they say a smile that could brighten a room they meant her.  With her smile, she could brighten up the darkest of nights.

Donna passed peacefully surrounded by loving her family, never alone until her last breath and her beautiful eyes closed for the last time.

She was a teacher to all and the lessons we learned were patience, kindness, love and respect.  Donna will be missed more than words can express.  We invite our friends and family to share in the light of Donna at the services listed below.

Services will be held at Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere MA  02151 on Saturday, March 2,2024 from 1:00-4:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:00PM
