Eileen (O'Hara) Russell

April 14, 1951 — May 1, 2024

Ipswich

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Eileen (O’Hara) Russell, passed over to heaven on May 1, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on April 14, 1951, in Winthrop, MA, she was the embodiment of wit, intelligence, and fun coupled with an irresistible sense of humor that touched the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

Eileen was a woman of many virtues and talents. An extraordinary home health aide by profession, loved by all she took care of.  She dedicated her life to the service of others, showing them the same kind of care and respect to her family.  Her quick wit and sharp intellect were the stars that lit up any gathering. Vivacious and full of life, Eileen's presence was a celebration in itself.

Eileen leaves behind her loving sister, Judith Violette, who will forever cherish memories of their shared laughter and sisterly bond. She now joins her late parents, Vincent and Margaret O’Hara, and her sisters, Liz and Paula, and her brother Dennis in heaven. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on, especially in the hearts of her niece Shannon, nephew Jr., and cousin Kathy, niece Janna Burke who were particularly close to her.

We encourage all who knew and loved Eileen to share your cherished memories and photos on her memorial page. Each recollection serves as a reminder of Eileen's remarkable life and the joy she brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. May God bless and keep you.  You are loved and missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
