Eric Svendsen

Eric Svendsen, of East Boston formerly of Revere, passed away on August 12, 2023 Born in East Boston to the late Oluf and Margaret (Aldus) Svendsen. Eric was raised in Beachmont and attended Revere schools, Eric was a longtime employee of Suffolk Downs where he was the race track starter for over 25 years. After retirement Eric would develop a passion for fishing and would go as often as possible. He is the beloved brother of Robert and his wife Betty Lou of Stoneham and Carl and his wife Deen of Colorado. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eric's memory to the charity of one’s choice. Services were held privately.
