Lavoie, Florence (Cicatelli)Passed away after a short illness in Sarasota FL formerly of Revere on January 2, 2014. Florence was born on December 17, 1918 in Revere, MA to Lorenzo and Elisa Cicatelli. She was preceded in death by her loving husband US Army (Ret) Major Warren Lavoie and siblings Jean, Josephine, Anthony, Emily, and Mary. A 1936 graduate of Revere High School, Florence lived most of her life in Revere, spending 3 years in Karlsruhe, Germany, and residing in Sarasota FL for the last 9 years. Filled with compassion and heartfelt interest in others, Florence made friends easily and maintained contact with many. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother Lingo Cicatelli of Revere and her children; Jeannie Mastronardi of Fayetteville GA, Rita Heller of Sarasota FL, and Warren Lavoie of Peachtree City GA. To her legacy she leaves 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Thursday Jan 16th at. 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 4-8 pm. Interment will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. .
