Florence R. Verrengia

Verrengia, Florence R. of Revere on October 15, 2016. Beloved wife of 60 years to her adoring late husband John P. Verrengia. Nurturing and loyal mother to John J. Verrengia and wife Alberta of Revere, Marianne Buzun and husband Fran of Saugus, and Rosalie Serena and husband Randy of Centerville. Adoring sister to the late Gus Scifo. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Buzun, and Joshua Verrengia. Also survived by her beloved dogs Becky, Snowy, and the late Krystal. Florence was the matriarch of the family, cooking, caring, and loving them all. She was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Beachmont VFW, and an avid sports fan. Florence was fiercely patriotic and enjoyed talking politics, knowing about the local and national related topics. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
