Frances Cullen, 95, of Lynnfield, formerly of Revere and South Boston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 25, 2025. Born and raised in South Boston on December 20, 1929, to the late Giuseppe Muscato and Josephine (Bellantoni) Muscato.
Frances was a woman of many talents and passions. She was employed as a diligent clerk at the Department of Revenue in Boston, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication. Her work was a testament to her remarkable work ethic and her belief in the importance of public service. Yet, her true joy lay in the comforts of her home, where she cultivated a haven of warmth and love. Her garden was her sanctuary, a testament to her green thumb and her love for nature's beauty. She had a special affinity for cooking, her pizza being the star of many family gatherings. Frances also found solace and creativity in her hobbies, like crocheting and adult coloring books, often gifting her artistic creations to those she loved.
Family was the cornerstone of Frances’ life. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Arthur Cullen Sr. A devoted mother of Anita Cullen of Lynnfield, Laura Cullen-McCormick and Frank Raffa of Worcester, Linda DiRico and her husband Paul of Lynnfield, Acting Chief RFD James Cullen and his wife Maria of Stoneham, and the late Arthur Cullen Jr. Adored Nana of Nikki DiRico, Paul Michael DiRico, Elizabeth Cullen, and Jacqueline Cullen. Dear sister of the late Vincent Mango, Frank Mango, Natale Muscato, Anthony Muscato, Ann Silva, and Joseph Muscato. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Frances' love for her family was boundless, her dedication unwavering. She created a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and guide her loved ones.

Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
