Collins, Francis of Revere on Jan. 15, 2009 he was 83. Beloved husband of the late Anna (Gentile) Devoted father of Francis Jr. & wife Rosemary of Stowe and Albert Nash & wife Rita of Chelsea. Dear brother of Ralph Collins of North Carolina and Evelyn Safeblade of Wisconsin. After his service in WWII, Francis lived in Somerville with his family before moving to Revere thirty years ago. He worked as an elevator mechanic for the U.S. Post Office. At the request of the family all services are private. In lieu of flowers donations in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, Ma. 01701.
