Vargas, Gabriel of Revere formerly of Chelsea and Puerto Rico at home surrounded by his family on September 13, 2017. Beloved husband of Julia (Cortes). Devoted father of Miguel Vargas of Puerto Rico, Teresa Ruiz of Malden, Iris Sevilla of FL, Rafael Vargas of Revere, Hector Vargas of Revere, Luis Vargas of Chelsea, Maria Ortiz of Chelsea, Reynaldo Vargas of Revere, and Daniel Vargas of Peabody. Dear brother of Arcides Vargas of East Boston, and Andreas Vargas of NY. Also survived by 26 loving grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral home 128 Revere St Revere on Saturday Sept 16th at 11:00am. Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s at 12:00(noon). Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Friday 4-8 pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
