Giuseppe "Joseph" Lupoli

Joseph Lupoli of Peabody formerly of Revere passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 8, 1946, in Frattaminore, Italy to the late Domenico Lupoli and Francesca Roseto. Beloved husband of 53 years to Mena (Ferone). Devoted Papá of Domenico Lupoli of Revere, and Frances Grizey and her late husband Michael of Peabody. Cherished Nonno of Mia Rose, Joseph Christopher, and Barbara Ann Grizey. Dear brother of Rosa Cimmino and her late husband Mario of Revere, Carmela Agostino of Revere, Giuseppina and Anna Lupoli both of Italy. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Newly married and leaving Italy in 1972 with nothing but hope, he came to America as a hardworking leather cutter seeking success and a desire for something more. Unbeknownst to him, the success he achieved was priceless. He continued his passion for gardening, for taking care of his family, and for tinkering in the yard and shed. His biggest passion of all was the time he spent with his family and friends. Recounting old family stories and passing time enjoying the sunshine and a cup of expresso.

He will be remembered as the man with the golden heart, a strong love for his home country, who greeted everyone with kindness and joy.

A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 12:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association (link provided at bottom of obituary).
