Herbert L. Pierre - Small Biography

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Herbert L. Pierre, went home to his Heavenly Father on October 3, 2023, at the age of 79. Herbert was predeceased by his parents, Ematesse Joseph and Leon Sr. Pierre, his brother Solite George. He is survived by his brother Beaudern Pierre and his sister, Denia Georges. Herbert was born in Hinche, Haiti, on July 7, 1944. He was a loving husband and father, granfather and great grandfather.

Herbert, as he was called by many relatives, was a devoted son, husband, and father. He and Marie Micheline Pierre were married in Waltham on March 19, 1992, thirty-one years ago, and she stood by side loving and caring for him until his passing. The Pierre family was active in the Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, where Herbert served in various church activities and taught Sunday school. His colleagues and friends held him in high regards.

He was most proud to work and lead at K-9 Security, dedicating much of his time to serving his community, and he served as a Supervisor Security Officer for over 20 years. He retired in April 2023.

Herbert is survived by his spouse, Marie Micheline Pierre, his brother, Beaudern Pierre, and his children: Jean Gerard Pierre, Karene Pierre, Mirline Pierre, Berry Pierre, Donna Pierre, Robert Pierre, and lastly Marly Pierre. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Derrick Noncent, Cassandra Noncent, Aaron Calixte, Geraldo Pierre, Herbert Gerard Pierre, Shanesha Pierre, Kaeley Pierre, Adia McNeil, Nia McNeil, Nemiah McNeil, and Josiah McNeil. His great-grandchildren include Zion Noncent, Zaliyah Noncent, Knijah Castellano, Ace Calixte, and Zagon Castellano. They all adored their Uncle Herbert, and he never failed to entertain them with stories about his life in Haiti.

In this painful circumstance, we would also like to acknowledge the Duclas family, the Pierre family, the George family, the Dupre family, the Boucicault/Uter family, and last but not least, the Jean-Louis family.

The Pierre Family would like to sincerely thank those who reached out and offered support during this challenging time in our lives. Herbert lived with the attitude of doing whatever it took to be there for his family. He was a man of great character and work ethic.
