Horgan, James “Jimmy” of Beachmont, Revere on April 20, 2020 Devoted and loving husband to Joyce (Attenasio) for almost 36 years. Proud and beloved father of Patrick, Andrew and Sean who he would consider his greatest accomplishments. Dear son-in-law of Pat & Joyce Attenasio, brother in-law to Jimmy & Lori Attenasio, Dottie & Joe Deveau and Susan & Jimmy Gravellese and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jimmy did not have an easy upbringing and unfortunately suffered for many of his last years. This past year and a half alone he battled several illnesses, more than any one person deserved. Jimmy dedicated many years as a hardworking City of Revere employee. He was a jack of all trades, was unpretentious, had a quick wit, a great sense of humor and was generous to a fault. He loved his motorcycle even though he didn’t have many chances to ride. He took great joy in taking his service dog Bolt for long walks down Belle Isle where they had many friends. He was also a music/stereo enthusiast and a diehard Patriots fan. In accordance with the CDC’s current restrictions on social gatherings due to Covid-19 all services will be private. His family hopes to give him the send off he deserves at a later date.
