Jennie "Joanne" Jankun

Jankun, Jennie “Joanne” (Maniscalco) of Revere on June 5th. Beloved wife of the late John Jankun. Devoted mother of Mary Kelley and late husband Lawrence of Revere, Annette Jankun of Peabody, Walter and his wife Wendy of FL, and the late Gus. Dear sister of Antonetta Sposito of Revere, Salvatore Maniscalco and wife Joan of Andover, Gus Maniscalco and wife Christine of Tewksbury, and the late Pasquale, James and surviving wife Mary, Charles, Joseph, Frank, Anthony, and Catherine. Cherished grandmother of John and wife Jini, Michael and wife Kelly, Christopher, Anthony, Kayla, Sarah, Katie and great grandmother to Emma, Lia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joanne was a former nurse’s aid at the Grover Manor Hospital in Revere and retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday June 9th at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne’s name to St Jude’s Hospital Children’s Research, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
