Devoted mother of Susan Viera of Lowell, Charles Bleakney of Everett and the late Christine Bleakney. Loving grandmother of Amber Bleakney, Randall Viera and Joseph Bleakney. Great grandmother of Elizabeth, Mackenzie and Erica Hanlon. Dear sister of Edward Peterson of CA, Richard Peterson, Charles Peterson both of FL and Janet Predmore of Las Vegas. At the request of the family Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons- Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere. A memorial service will be scheduled in the spring. Former 30 yr employee New England Telephone/Verizon. After retirement, Joanne worked for the Red Cross and TSA at Logan Airport.
