John "Shoes" Cammarata

Cammarata, John J. “Shoes” lifelong resident of Boston’s North End. Suddenly on Feb 20, 2016. Beloved husband of Sandra (Piccadaci). Devoted father of John and his wife Darlene of Revere, Linda Ryan of Melrose and Cheryl Panetta and her husband Steven of Billerica. Loving grandfather of Alyssa, Steven, Brendon and Gabrielle. Dear brother of Josephine “Anna” Ferullo and her late husband John of Winthrop, Frances Milano and her husband Anthony of Medford and the late Joseph Cammarata and his surviving wife Josephine of NH and Frank Cammarata. Also survived by his son in-law Jonathan Ryan and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Wednesday February 24th at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited at 10:00 am. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-8pm. Late Korean Conflict Army Veteran. Johnny “Shoes” was a Barber in Boston’s North End for over 50 years, starting on Salem St. and later at Johnny and Gino Barber Shop on Hanover St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nazzaro Center 30 North Bennett St Boston, MA 02113 Interment will be in St Michaels Cemetery.
