John “Jack” Curran III passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Winthrop on January 31, 1959, to the late John Curran Jr, and Gertrude (Howell). John was a beacon of reliability and dedication, a man who exemplified these virtues in every aspect of his life. Jack worked at Primark in Boston. John was always someone to be counted on.
John's faith was a cornerstone of his life. As a devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Church Neocatechumenal Way, his faith shaped his outlook and actions. It was in this community that John found not just spiritual fulfillment but also a sense of camaraderie and belonging. He was a testament to the verse from the book of Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." John's light shone brightly, and it illuminated the paths of many who were fortunate to know and love him.
He is survived by his brother James Curran of Revere, and Kathleen Curran of Everett.
A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9:30am to 11:00am followed by a 11:30am Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Revere. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
His life was a melody of love, faith, and dedication. His absence leaves a profound void, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. We invite you to leave your memories of John and upload photos to the memorial page at www.buonfiglio.com
