Powers, John E of Revere on April 7th, after a long illness. Beloved Father of Jesse, Jillian and John Powers all of Revere. Devoted son of John F. Powers (Revere City Councilor) and the late Maureen (McCarthy). Dear brother of Maryanne Jans of FL, Charlene Theodore of Lynn, Pamela Feldberg of Wilmington, Jacqueline Chagaris of Revere, Maureen Feeney of Medford, Michael Powers , Michelle Powers, and Shawn Powers all of Revere and the late Deborah Cagliuso and Madeline Powers. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Saturday April 11 at 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Friday 3- 8 pm. John worked for Verizon for over 18 yrs and was a member of Local 2222. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MGH Development Office 100 Cambridge St, Suite 1310, Boston MA 02114 c/o Blood Donor Center. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
