John William-Francis Searle

October 11, 1946 — April 28, 2016

Searle, John William-Francis, of ME formerly of Revere on April 28, 2016 after a long illness. Son to the late John “Jake” Searle and Jean “Jen” DeDominici. Residing in Revere for over 30 years. For the last 33 years John has lived in Maine. John was a great athlete and while attending Revere High was a middle linebacker on the football team. After high school John attended a Military Academy in Tulsa Oklahoma for 2 years. But John’s true passion was music where he worked for over 40 years with many major recording artists as a production manager. Beloved husband to Margaret “Maggie” Roland-Searle. Maggie and John were married for 32 years. John met Maggie while she worked at the Banyan Club in Ipswich when he came to visit his brother who worked there. John was a loving father of John Searle Jr. of Seattle, daughter Michelle Searle also of Seattle, and David Searle of Maine. John is also survived by his two loving grandchildren and a brother Eugene Searle of Florida. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation in John’s honor at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. Revere on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Village Cemetery in South Thomaston, Maine.
