MOSCATO, Joseph, 83 – of Revere, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2021 surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Mirabella Eclano, Italy on April 18, 1937. Beloved husband of over 43 years to the late Rosamond F. (McInnis) Moscato. Son of the late Michele and Antonina (DeSimone) Moscato. Cherished father of Annette M. Papia and her husband Vincent of Revere, Joseph J. Moscato and his wife Lisa of Kingston,New Hampshire, and Jeanne M. Morello of Clermont, Florida. Loving Papa of Kailey, Lauren and her husband Jeffrey, Jessica, Andrew and his wife Mariah, James and his wife Cassidy, Ryan, and Nicholas. Dear brother of Phyllis Moscato and her late husband Mario of Wakefield, Sandra Terramagra and her husband Louis of North Andover, the late Antonio Moscato and his late wife Julia, and the late Lena Grassia. Joe is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Joe immigrated to the United States from Italy as a teenager with his family and lived the American Dream. A successful local business owner, he married the love of his life, took pride in his family’s successes, and never failed to bring smiles and laughter to everyone he met. Quiet, kind and always willing to lend a hand, he will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere. Due to capacity limits we ask that you keep your visit brief to allow others to pay their respects to the family. Masks and social distancing are required when entering the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Funeral service on Friday, March 26th at Buonfiglio Funeral Home at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere at 10:00 AM (names and temperatures will be taken upon entrance). Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
