Joseph “Joe” Santangelo Jr. of the North End passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2021 at the age of 44. Born in Boston on November 22, 1976 to his late mother Rose (Bergeron) and his father Joseph Santangelo Sr. Beloved step-son of Emily (Aliberti) Santangelo of Winthrop. Devoted father of Noah Santangelo. Dear brother of Jo Ann Santangelo and her wife Kate Payne of Austin,TX, and Nick and Jade Santangelo. Adored uncle of Frances Santangelo. Cherished nephew of Gina Chiarenza and her husband Joey of Peabody, and Paul Santangelo and the late Raymond Santangelo Jr. of the North End, and Joanne and her husband Joe Miniutti of Hanson, and Carole “Honey” and her husband Jackie Dastugue of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Also survived by many loving cousins and countless friends. Joseph was a lifelong member of the Madonna Della Cava. To know Joe is to know his love for his son, Noah, was immeasurable. He was a dedicated, loving father. Joe’s passion for cooking and chasing sunsets brought joy to so many. He dedicated his life to healing and recovery. Joe lived a life of service. His soul was bright and his heart knew no boundaries. A Memorial visitation will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church 401 Hanover St, in Boston’s North End on Saturday July, 17, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by a 10:30am Mass.
