Josephine Harrington

Harrington, Josephine (DelGreco) Proprietor, Sebastian’s Restaurant A lifelong resident of Revere, and forever young at the age of 39, Josephine passed with peace and grace with her family by her side on June 28, 2016. The daughter of the late Elio and Josephine DelGreco, she is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Edward Harrington, devoted and fierce mother of Michael Harrington, Erin and Paul Yates, Shawna and Joseph Flaherty and Maura Harrington and Manuel Rivera. As with most loving and kind moms comes a patient and strong woman and role model. She was a true heroine whose strength and independence were always on full display – to everyone without discrimination; especially to her grandchildren: Aidan, Sebastian, Joseph, Paul and Michael. Josephine will be forever remembered by her siblings Rosemarie Pisano, Elio DelGreco, Joseph DelGreco, Elia Dell’Anno, Eleanora Diruzza, Peter Delgreco and Stefan Delgreco and the late Pasquale DelGreco, Salvatore DelGreco, and Gwendolyn Butler. Josephine began her career at the State House Press Office where she worked closely with Governors Volpe and Sargent. A 30-year hiatus was taken to raise her four children. Shortly thereafter, Josephine threw her energies into Sebastian’s Restaurant where she commanded the dining room and forged many cherished relationships. A Celebration of Life mass will be held on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Anthony’s of Padua Church, Revere, MA.
