Khloe Conte of Winchester passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 from ovarian cancer. Khloe was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from the Kew Forest School in Queens, obtained her RN from Methodist Hospital Nursing School in Brooklyn, and her BSN from the Boston University School of Nursing. She obtained her masters degree in nursing and graduated from MGH Institute as a nurse practitioner. Khloe worked as a nurse at MGH in a variety of capacities for 45 years, primarily in the Emergency Department and Ambulatory Care Unit. She also worked at Lahey Clinic and as a public health nurse for the City of Revere. Khloe met her adoring husband Tony at MGH and they were married for almost 50 years. Khloe loved traveling with her husband and daughter, especially to National Parks and Europe. She was an avid reader – she loved all genres but especially poetry and mysteries. Khloe loved gardening and enjoyed maintaining the flower garden at her home and a Winchester Community Gardens vegetable garden where she was the volunteer manager for nearly 20 years. Khloe was a prolific knitter, and enjoyed daily walks with her husband. When her daughter was young, Khloe volunteered with the Girl Scouts and Red Cross. She is survived by her devoted husband Tony and loving daughter Adrian. Services will be private. Please omit flowers, donations to the Animal Rescue League of Boston or any animal welfare or conservation organization of your choosing are welcomed.
