Leon Derosa Sr.

DeRosa, Leon Sr. of East Boston formerly of Revere on June 12th. Beloved son of the late Nicholas and Ida (Lamonte). Loving husband of 34 years to Lucille (DiPasquale). Cherished father of Leon DeRosa Jr. and companion Natalie Marcil of Fitchburg, and Melinda Kendall and companion Timothy Buckley of Leominster. Beloved brother of Joseph DeRosa of Lowell, and the late Nicholas and Robert DeRosa. Adoring grandfather of Carissa, Michayla, Jessica, and Chase. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Leon loved his family very much and relished in the time spent together. He enjoyed visiting hobby shops and had a collection of model trains. Leon was an avid sports fan with hockey being his favorite. Was a member of the Elks in Revere for over 40 years and sang in the church choir. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St., Revere on Wednesday June 15th at 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7pm. Private Interment. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Leon’s name to National Association of the Deaf, 8630 Fenton St. #820, Silver Springs, Maryland 20910.
