Linda M. Espada-Matine

Espada-Matine, Linda of Revere passed at the age of 48 on November 19, 2017. Beloved wife of Adil Matine of Revere. Devoted mother of Kyle Matine of Revere, Nadia Matine and her fiancé Anthony Firicano of Revere, and Ajay Matine and his fiancé Maddy of Revere. Loving daughter of Carlos Espada Sr. of East Boston and the late Linda (Iannacone). Adoring sister of Dennis Espada of Dorchester, Carlos Espada Jr. of Everett, and John Espada and wife Kim of Everett. Cherished aunt of Kinjo Espada, John Espada, and Lira Espada. Also survived by many dear cousins. A beautiful wife, mother and friend. Strong and gracious, Linda Marie Espada-Matine has given more than she ever asked for. Mastering any task she had, especially cooking. Linda has always wanted to master Moroccan style dishes and mastered it, she did. Along with her perfected Puerto Rican and Italian dishes, she even mastered new recipes and all she wanted in return was to know “How was it?”. She could do it all, be a mother and a best friend all in one, as well as a wife and a life long friend. She was the greatest mom to her dog Bentley. Her children knew they could always come to her for honest advice, and as their biggest support system. No matter who you are, Linda was known for making you feel at home. Linda was very loved by everyone she came in contact with. She will be remembered for her hospitality, so much love bestowing, always happy, one of a kind beautiful, strong person she was. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass at St Anthony’s Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett Massachusetts.
