Insalaco, Louis S. of Revere on Jan. 2. Beloved husband of Santa (Bonanno) Insalaco. Devoted father of Sandra Sherriff & husband Bob of Swampscott, Louis Jr. & wife Judith of Wilmington, Diane Pizzotti & husband Mark of Saugus. Dear brother of Kathleen Ciano of FL, and the late Caroline Jones, Phyllis Imprescia, Cosmo and Salvatore Jr. Insalaco. Also survived by his grandchildren; Nicole Caylor, Ryan Sherriff, Jill and Mark Pizzotti, Tara and Louis Insalaco and great-grandchild Amelia Caylor. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons - Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. REVERE on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. During WW II Mr. Insalaco served aboard the USS Windsor APA-55. He participated in six initial invasions, three suppport invasions in Tokyo, Hakodate and Hokkaido. He received the American Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with 6 Stars, Commendation Ribbon, Victory Medal, Philippines Liberation Campaign with 2 Stars and the Naval Reserve Medal.
