Marie (Sordillo) Abbene

Abbene, Marie (Sordillo) of Londonderry NH formerly of Revere passed away on February 25, 2018 at the age of 93. Born on April 18, 1924 to the late Angelo and Margaret (DeAngelis) Sordillo. Beloved wife of the late Dante Abbene. Devoted mother of Frances Gaudes and husband Edward of Derry NH, Paula Abbene of Dover NH and her husband Edmond Turgeon, Dante Abbene and wife Grace of New Boston NH, and Margaret Milano and husband John of Londonderry NH. Dear sister of Alfred Sordillo of Peabody and the late Florine Magno and Frances Matthews. Cherished grandmother of 12 and adoring great grandmother of 11. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist at 1 South Rd, Londonderry NH, on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to Tidewell Hospice House, 1144 Veronica St, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
