Marie (Desesa) Fortucci

Marie Fortucci (DeSesa) of South Hamilton, former citizen of Everett, passed away on November 19, 2016. Devoted mother of Albert Fortucci, of Lynnfield, and Diane Curr of South Hamilton. She was the dear sister of the late Peter DeSesa, Michael DeSesa, and Phyllis Bonafine. Cherished grandmother of Samantha Curr, Derek Curr and Stephanie Fortucci. Marie adored her family and will be remembered for doting on her grandchildren. She spent a large portion of her time at the family equestrian facility, where she enjoyed socializing with friends. Marie was full of life; at 80 years old she decided to ride a horse with her granddaughter. Marie looked forward to monthly meetings at the Continental with life-long friends from the graduating class of 1949. In her final years she enjoyed spending time with her health aids, who cared for her like family. Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home at 128 Revere St, Revere on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Per family request the funeral services will be privately held.
