Vajao, Marie B. (Teixeira) of Revere on September 24th. Beloved wife of the late George Vajao. Cherished mother of Judith and late husband Lee Zolla of Revere, Linda McElwaney and husband Donald of Saugus, Lisa Spinelli and husband Donald of Chester NH, and George Vajao and wife Elaine of Revere. Dear sister of the late Emily Rose Feola. Loving grandmother of Leanne Stamatopoulos, Christopher and Michael Zolla, Caitlin McElwaney, Jennifer, Donald Jorge, and Alexander Spinelli, Jared and Julia Vajao. Devoted great grandmother to Bella, Gemma, Kosta, Alanna, Leo, and Michael James. Marie was a devout Catholic and was a member of the St Mary’s Women’s Club. She worked for many years at Sears and Sparks as a sales clerk. Marie would do anything for her family and enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Her passion was cooking and baking for her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday September 29th at 8:00am. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of The Assumption Parish at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment Holy Cross cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Marie’s name to charity of choice.
