Marion (Bird) Flynn

Marion V. (Bird) Flynn, of Wakefield, formerly of Revere, passed away at home on March 22, 2022. The beloved wife of the late Daniel Flynn, she was 60 years old. Daughter of the late Thomas and Marion (Scadding) Bird. Devoted mother of Daniel T. Flynn and his wife Kateyln of Peabody, Michael J. Flynn and his wife Renee, and Christine M. Voldstad and her husband Eric, all of Wakefield. Adored grandmother of Presley and Daniel Flynn. Cherished sister of Sharon Bird of Revere and the late Sheila Bird and her surviving son, Ricky Evers. Dear sister-in-law of Thomas Flynn and his late wife Maureen, Joseph Flynn and his wife Wendy and Helene Gardiner and her husband Peter. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion was born and raised in Charlestown. She was a paraprofessional for many years at the Garfield School in Revere. Family was everything to Marion .She cherished all the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Wakefield, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Please report directly to church. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
