DiBlasi, Maurice J. "Moe" of Revere, peacefully at 91 years on April 9, 2010 Beloved husband of Louise A. (Moschella) DiBlasi, for 65 years of marriage. Devoted father of Marianne Ostrowski and her husband Ronald, Joyce DiBlasi, Maurine Fischer and her husband Jerome, Philip and his fiancé Natasha. Dear brother of Joseph, Salvatore & his wife Louise, Josephine LeClair & husband Norman, Anna Merlina & husband Augustine. Loving grandfather of Kristen DiBlasi, Erik Ostrowski & wife Ann, Mark Ostrowski & wife Shayne, Matthew Fischer & wife Diana. Adoring great-grandfather of Max, Jackson, Delilah, James and Colby Ostrowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and honored to be Godfather of Linda Spinazolla and Mila Moschella. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. REVERE on Tuesday, April 13 at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 am. Relative and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Born in Boston's West End and a lifelong resident of Revere, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He owned with his father and brothers the Corner Fruit Store on Blackstone St. in Boston. He was the Health Inspector for the City of Revere until his retirement at the age of 75. An active member of the Revere Chapter, Knights of Columbus currently serving as their Chancellor and a life long communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, serving as an usher. His passion was his family and his life was filled with Family celebrations, dancing with his wife, playing cribbage with friends, golfing and enjoying the sunshine.
