Beloved husband of 19 years to Frances (Lupoli). Devoted father of Barbara Ann (Grizey) and her husband Michael O'Dea of MT, Mia Rose Grizey of Peabody, and Joseph Christopher Grizey of Peabody. Cherished grandfather of Serenity O'Dea, Isaiah, Ezra, Israel, and Ezekiel. Dear brother of Michelle M. Grizey of Brockton and Justin D. Grizey of Revere. Loving son in law to Joseph and Mena Lupoli and brother-in-law of Domenic Lupoli. Adored uncle of Laila Bazidane. He also leaves behind his best friend Robert Labonte. As a young adult, Michael spent some time in Montana where he served on the Glendive Fire Department. This is also where he welcomed his oldest daughter Barbara into the world. Michael graduated from Dawson Community College with Associates of Arts & Associates of Science degrees. Upon returning home to Massachusetts, Michael's life lead him back to his best friend & forever life partner, Frannie. Together they built a beautiful life centered around their love for their three beautiful children. Michael enjoyed spending time outdoors, one of his favorite pastimes being metal detecting. He also loved spending time out on the water with his son Joe. Michael was very fortunate to have a group of lifelong friends, with which he enjoyed many games of Dungeons & Dragons. Michael inherited a passion for history from his father which led him to join the 1812 Marine Guard aboard the USS Constitution. An avid gamer, Michael enjoyed many late night sessions bonding with his son-in-law Michael. Above all, Michael was a calming rock for many, most especially his daughter Mia with which he enjoyed many long car rides. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
