Meriano~Michael A of Revere on May 3, 2013. Father of Michael Meriano of Revere MA and Justine Vaillancourt of Quincy MA. Grandfather to Tyler, Zachary, Jillian, Matthew, and Miley. Son of the departed Carmine and Morosa Meriano formerly of Revere. Brother of Mario Meriano of Salem NH, Maria Champoux of Revere MA, Angie Harrington of Salem MA, Anthony Meriano of Wolfeboro NH and the departed Carmine Meriano formerly of Revere MA. Brother-in-law of Lola Meriano, Ronald Champoux, Daniel Harrington, Vickie Meriano and Andrea Meriano. Uncle and Great-Uncle to many nieces and nephews whose annual Christmas cards he lovingly showcased on his refrigerator. He also was a devoted friend to all he met during his lifetime and, especially, in his last years. Michael served as a Private ET in the U.S. Army till 1972. Michael will be remembered for his robust and spirited personality. He enjoyed waking early to have coffee on his front porch, watching the beach walkers and runners, and listening to the sounds of the ocean waves. He looked forward to springtime and the planting of his tomato plants so that he could make gravy. He is remembered as kind, with a willingness to strike up a conversation with everyone. He often told others how he leaned on his faith and was thankful for the opportunities he'd had. He was happy in his last days, loving family and friends, surrounded by goodness.
