Michele Scaramozza

Scaramozza, Michele of Somerville passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2021 at the age of 45. Born in Malden on June 4, 1976 to her loving parents Joseph and Christina (Doucette) of Melrose. Beloved sister of Joseph R. Scaramozza Jr. and his wife Catherine of Topsfield, Carmen R. Scaramozza of CA, and Maria P. McCarthy of Marlborough. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Since her high school years, Michele was a strong advocate for independent living. She accomplished this life long mission through her work with Easter Seals, the Boston Center for Independent Living, Partners for Youth with Disabilities, and hundreds of campers and counselors at Agassiz Village, her second home. She will be remembered by friends and family on multiple continents for her willingness to drop everything to listen and help when someone needed a friend. A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday July 19, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by a 12:00pm Prayer Service in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. The family respectfully requests everyone wear a mask while in the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
