Peter A. Thomas

Peter A. Thomas, 90, of Winthrop, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023. Born in Boston to the late Domenic and Margaret (Peloso) Tamasi. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Longo) for 20 years. Father of Peter Thomas and Loretta Thomas, both of Lynn, and the late Phillip Thomas. Dear brother of Loretta Casale of Kingston NH, Constance Flores of West Peabody, and Dolores Melograno of Reading. Also survived by his loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Marie's daughters, Gina Lupo and Michelle Gallarelli.

Peter was a quiet man who dedicated most of his life to his passion for hairstyling. He owned his hair salon, Shear Attention, in Malden for 40 years. Alongside his longtime partner and dear friend, Debbie Screti. Peter built a successful career, leaving a lasting impact on his clients and the community.

Outside of work, Peter enjoyed boating and horse racing. He also had a talent for winemaking and took great pleasure in crafting his own wines.His appreciation for the simple pleasures extended to enjoying a good beer. He also enjoyed a good cigar.

Visiting hours will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons -Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Saturday, July 15th from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, Revere, at 11:00 AM.
