Devoted father of Petrice Ranno and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, Peter and his wife Karen of Windham NH, and Pamela Padovani of Swampscott. Loving grandfather of Gina, Lindsay, Peter, Marina, Gerald and the late Joseph Peter Ranno, and 1 great grandchild Lily. Dear brother of the late Ralph Ventola and his surviving wife Gladys of Malden. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Thursday Dec 18th at 10:30 am. Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 3-7 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peter’s memory to the shrinershospitalsforchildren.org Late WWII Navy Veteran, recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Medal with 3 Stars, American Theatre Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. Peter was a standout athlete at Revere High and a High School Football All-American. Interment Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
