Born in Waltham on October 30, 1955 to the late Joseph and Helen (Sarandos) Altieri. Beloved husband of 42 years to Linda (Dangora). Devoted father of Dawn Packer and her husband Uri of Revere, Laura Altieri and her fiancé Mark Pantanella of Somerville, and Brian Altieri of Revere. Dear brother of Rose Freda and her late husband Anthony of Malden, Nick Altieri and his wife Mary of Saugus, and the late Frederick Altieri and his surviving wife Anne-Marie of Winthrop. Cherished grandfather of Jessica and Joshua Farro, Julia and Sofia Packer, and Cole and Skylar Pantanella. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Phillip was a lover of all Boston sports, westerns and his Sunday morning visits to the flea market with his sister Rose. He had and undeniable love for music and his American muscle cars. He was a man of few words, but his family values and love said everything that needed to be said. Phillip worked 48 years at Mount Auburn Hospital improving the lives of so many, and being the first to hold all his grandchildren born there. His patience and hard work resonated throughout his home from his early days in Somerville to his home in Revere. Someone so special can never be forgotten.
