SIMONELLI~ Phillip of Chelsea on March 29, 2015 after a courageous 9 ½ year battle with brain cancer. Devoted husband of Carol (Vigliotti) Simonelli of Chelsea. Loving father of Carrie Ann Simonelli of RI and Kimberlee Ellis and husband Michael of Peabody. Dear brother of Ronald Simonelli, Anthony Simonelli and wife Cathy, Evelyn Pollock and husband Barry, Wayne Simonelli and wife Linda and the late Gerald Simonelli and Marlene Nolan. Doting Papa of Cassidy & Meredith Dawkins and Giulianna Ellis. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons~Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St., REVERE on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Chelsea, at 10:30am. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-8pm. Late US Marine Vietnam Veteran. In lieu of flowers donations in Phil’s name may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517,Topeka, Kansas 66675. Phil loved spending time with his family, fishing, vacationing on cruises, and working on home improvement projects. He was proud to be a marine, having served in the Vietnam War, and spent many years working as a skilled barber. Phil and his loving wife Carol recently celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
