Politano, Ralph of Revere "Multiple Stakes Winning Horse Trainer" on March 2 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late John Politano Sr. and Geraldine (Voto) Politano. Beloved husband of Susan (Colannino) of Revere. Dear father of Ralph J. Politano Jr. "RJ" of Revere, John R. Politano & wife Michelle of Winthrop. Grandfather of J.R. Politano of Winthrop. Brother of Debbie Politano & companion Don "Chief" of Abington, John Politano Jr. of Weymouth & wife Janet. Peter Politano of Abington, Jean O'Brien of Walpole & husband Butch, Jim Politano of Foxboro & wife Karen and the late Dana & Joseph Politano. Also survived by many aunts & uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Visiting Hours are Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. REVERE on Saturday at 10am. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. After Serving in the U.S. Marines, Ralph went onto become a thoroughbred horse trainer racing along the entire East Coast and Florida. He was a multiple stakes winner, who devoted his heart and soul to his horses. He loved golfing, sports, casinos, traveling with his family and cooking. He was a "self proclaimed" master of the grill and always enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
