Shalsi Sr., Ralph A. Of Sandown, NH, formerly Everett, passed away on October 28, 2021. Beloved son of Theresa L. Shalsi and the late Ralph C. Shalsi, of Everett. Loving father of Ralph A. "Tony" Shalsi and wife Dawn, of Sandown, NH; MaryTheresa Michlik and husband Ricky, of Raymond, NH. Cherished Papa to Nora, Mitch and Harper Michlik. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.Ralph was a former graduate of Everett High School. He was very much involved in his community and public service. He loved working for Cataldo as a paramedic and a police officer on the Derry, NH police force. He also enjoyed being a 911 Director for the city of Everett, the Emergency Management Director and volunteer firefighter for the town of Sandown, NH. He also enjoyed being a Private Detective and a Justice of the Peace in his spare time.Ralph had a love hate relationship with New England Sports. He loved Tom Brady, enjoyed going to the Bruins games with his son Tony; but hated Claude Julien, even more so when he started coaching the Canadiens. He said his knee could always predict the weather, better than any New England meteorologist and he always knew when the first snow was coming and that would start his Christmas countdown, in July. He loved the holidays and enjoyed playing Santa Claus for numerous events and family Christmas parties. He had frequent hospital visits, but we all know he just wanted to visit the nurses. He loved his dogs and he cherished all of his friendships and relationships. He could always sit and tell stories about all of his past experiences. His favorite story was when he was face to face with a moose and scratching the moose's chin, while on the Derry, NH police force. He seemed to always be in the right place at the right time; especially when he ran into a burning building, with no hesitation, and saved a family in Everett. He had a smile that could light up a room and always gave his shirt off of his back, if needed. He will be missed terribly.A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons ~ Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
