It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Raymond Spallone Jr., who left us on February 15, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 30, 1952, in Revere, Massachusetts, to the late Raymond J. Spallone Sr. and Louise (Perna), Raymond’s life was shaped by both personal challenges and the unwavering support of his family. As Mother Teresa said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."
Though Raymond’s life may not have followed a conventional path, the quiet, steady support he received from his family gave his life a foundation of love and care. His journey reminds us that greatness and love are often found not in grand gestures but in the subtle, quieter acts of care and compassion that leave a lasting impact.
Raymond is survived by his siblings Jeannine Spallone of Needham, Marie Bouras of Peabody, Joseph Spallone of Middleton, and the late Jody Spallone of Revere. He is also remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many loving cousins. A special mention to North Suffolk Community Services, whose dedicated staff provided Raymond with exceptional care and support, allowing him to live with dignity in the community of Revere for many years before being transitioned to Pine Knoll Nursing Center in Lexington.
A Funeral Mass in Raymond's honor will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere (everyone is invited to meet directly at the church). Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Suffolk Community Services: www.north suffolk.org. For the guest book, please visit www.buonfiglio.com.
